All tests are molecular tests, also known as a reverse polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). The COVID-19 test only detects the presence or absence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The COVID-19 + Flu + RSV test detects the presence or absence of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and B, and RSV.
